Waynesburg PA Gym Dandy Meet 2010

Way to go Mountain Magic! Level Six first place team! Rylie also had personal best on bars and also placed first All Around.

Gatlinburg, Tennesee

A huge competition including 11 states from as far away as Texas. Rylie did very well taking Silver in Floor and Beam with Third Place all around. The top three All Around scores were separated by less than a point. The competition was great and Rylie had such a good time. The highlight of the trip was a visit to the Ripley's Aquarium and it was the best and biggest aquarium I've ever seen. Rylie and her team placed 2nd place all around for level six. It was a great trip!

2010 WV Peace Love and Flipflop meet, Parkersburg WV

Rylie had her best bar routine to date earning her a silver medal. She took Gold in the floor and Silver in Vault and Beam. 2nd Place All Around. Mountain Magic missing two team members due to the snow storm still pulling out 2nd Place in the Team Awards. Way to go girls! Here is a video of Rylie's bar routine.

Mountain Magic Wins Terrapin Md. Invitational!

This was a great meet for every girl on the team. Mountain Magic took the team award Gold, and Rylie had a great meet as well, taking Gold in two events and two Silvers. Here is a video of Rylie's two winning events, floor and beam. She received a 9.5 on the floor and an 8.9 on the beam. Rylie also took second place in her vault and second place all around with a total score of 34.55 competing in the 8-11 yr old group. Good job, Rylie and good job team!

Jingle Bell Rock 2010 Vault 9.4

Rylie had a really good meet for the Jingle Bell Rock in Mount Pleasant PA. I will try to highlight some of her best work in these blog posts and without a doubt, her vault was pretty amazing winning her the Gold Medal with a score of 9.4. Here is a short video of both of Rylie's vaults. Rylie is becoming quite a seasoned competitor at the age of nine. This is her 20th meet in her short career of gymnastics. And she is still loving it!

Rylie and Her American Girl Doll have a new Leo!

 

Rylie was excited to get a new leo after her meet Saturday. Her American girl Doll also dressed the part. Rylie did well at her meet with an amazing 9.4 First Place Vault! Video coming soon!

First Meet of the 2010 Season. Rylie wins All Around Gold!

Rylie really bouncing back after a bout with the swine flu. She did very well in her first meets of the season, The Big Dog Meet in Charleston, WV. Rylie took First in Beam, Floor, and Vault with Second in Bars. Rylie also made the finals in three out of four events. To make the finals means your score has to be in the top six of all the ages in the level six. Rylie is still really enjoying her gymnastics and loves being part of the team of Mountain Magic.

 

Rylie's team, Mountain Magic also won First Place with all the girls doing an amazing job. Every girl on the level six team made the finals in at least one or more events. These girls are awesome!
